Disney's Maleficent
After spending years in development, Disney has finally announced the commencement of production Maleficent, the live-action twist on Sleeping Beauty that follows the evil title villain and reveals the events that lead to her hardened heart and the curse she placed on the baby Aurora. Along with their announcement, Disney sent over a first look photo of Angelina Jolie in full wardrobe, and she's looks absolutely fantastic. Jolie has been attached to the film since its inception, and it's no surprise she looks so good with iconic make-up artist Rick Baker (Planet of the Apes, Men in Black) working on the film.
Robert Stromberg (a production designer on Alice in Wonderland and Avatar) is making his directorial debut with Maleficent from a script written by Linda Woolverton (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast). Angelina Jolie plays the title villain from the classic Disney film Sleeping Beauty in this live-action spin that also stars Sharlto Copley ( District 9 ), Elle Fanning ( Super 8 ), Sam Riley ( On the Road ), Imelda Staunton ( Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix ), Juno Temple ( Atonement ) and more. Disney sends Maleficent to theaters everywhere in 3D on March 14th, 2014.

Accessoirement celui la c'est pas Blanche Neige c'est La Belle au Bois dormant. Par contre le reboot live action de Blanche Neige par Disney a ete canned.

Re: Disney's Maleficent
When Disney announced yesterday that they had officially begun production on the fairy tale spin Maleficent, they included a first look at Angelina Jolie in costume as the title character, who you may remember better as the evil queen from their classic Sleeping Beauty film. In Maleficent the queen takes the central role, in what they're called "the untold story of Disney's most beloved villain." And now with production underway, some set photos have given us an even closer look at what that villain looks like, including the sinister looking robes Jolie is wearing.
Of course, she doesn't look quite so intense walking through a grassy field on the English set, but you can bet with director Robert Stromberg behind the camera -he's a former production designer who won an Oscar for Avatar- the look will be complete. I still can't really get over those gnarled horns on her head-- she looks like she could be the older sister of Loki from The Avengers, but with possibly even more world-ending powers.
Jolie may be the main attraction in Maleficent, but she's joined by a pretty spectacular cast, including Elle Fanning as the pure-of-heart Princess Aurora, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Lesley Manville as the pixies who take her in, and Sam Riley as Maleficent's right-hand man who also has the power to turn into a raven. The movie is set for release March 14, 2014. Are you intrigued enough by what you've seen so far to check it out ?

Re: Disney's Maleficent
